Our history

This adventure began in 2017, when we started consuming Aloe vera and checking its benefits. We are Icíar and Paco, both agricultural engineers with extensive experience in the agri-food sector. In our case we came to Aloe vera because of digestive problems, but this miraculous plant provides benefits for countless ailments, in addition to strengthening the immune system, thanks to the huge amount of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes and polysaccharides.

It became one more food supplement in our daily life, making our own juices and making it known in our environment. The response was so positive that we decided to go further, forming La Vendita with a clear objective: To bring the benefits of Aloe Vera to every home.

Currently, we are a team of 12 people, mainly women, who with hard work and much more enthusiasm, produce Aloe Vera in all its forms, preserving and sharing its properties.

Our crops

We plant Aloe Vera in an ecological way and being very respectful with the environment and the available resources. Currently, we have 30,000 m2 of greenhouses for the cultivation of Aloe Vera. For us, the sustainability of our activity has always been a priority, and that is why we use a pond that collects rainwater to irrigate the plantation, biomass heating (olive pits) from the surrounding olive oil mills and solar panels to generate electricity. With all this we obtain an Aloe Vera with an exceptional quality and available all year round.

Our Organic Aloe Vera Leaves are produced in Extremadura, in the fertile Vegas del Guadiana, obtaining a great quantity of the best quality juice and cared with care by our team of farmers. The leaves have the Global Gap certification (nº GGN) assuring the Good Agricultural Practices.

La Vendita is synonymous with purity, nutrient concentration and health.

Our industry

After 4 years, the plantation had reached its optimum maturity, and we decided to go one step further. In the same farm we built a modern industry, with the best available techniques, which allows us to produce a totally natural food supplement, with procedures that do not alter the properties of Aloe Vera and always in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way. The location of the factory on the same farm as the cultivation, allows us to guarantee the freshness of the leaf and minimizes our carbon footprint, having a km0 raw material.

Our processing method is unique, the Alo vera leaves are harvested hours before the juice is processed to ensure that it does not lose its properties. The whole team is committed to the project, achieving the quality and food safety standards approved by the IFS regulations.
